Intermission #65: Amelia Earhart - The Truth!

Posted by Idiot-Finder - October 31st, 2014

After making an emergency landing in some random island somewhere in the Pacific, Amelia Earhart took a moment to calm down while her navigator, Fred Noonan was busy pissing his pants when he then said, "GOOD GOD, WE ALMOST GET IT! WE TOTALLY ALMOST GET IT!"

Amelia then slaps Fred and said, "Fred, get a hold of yourself!"

Then suddenly, the plane falls right through a sinkhole and the two struggles to climb back out, only to be sucked in. By the time the plane hits the ground, Amelia was knocked out upon impact while Fred broke his leg. Looking around through his tears from his near death experience, the navigator then hears a roar and to his horror, right in front of him and Amelia is a giant monster that resembles an ant.

"Amelia, Amelia, wake up, we have to get out...WAKE UP!"

Before he could try to move the pilot out and escape, the pain on his leg cause the navigator to fall back and scream. Afterward, the monster then sprays the two with a fluid and within seconds, both Amelia and Fred were enveloped in foam which then disappears, leaving a pair of skeletons!

The monster then continues to spray the fluid until the damaged aircraft begins to corrode while the skeletons dissolves, leaving little left.

Wow, that's a sucky fate to befall, even if it is Halloween. Wow dude, I haven't seen Ultraman Ace... anime was sooo damn hard to find the 1980's, and when you did, expensive! Ah hell, back then, VHS tapes are always expensive, but the imports were O_O Nice story, could use a little proofreading.. stupid new blog creator thingy |:

I know, it made it tough to edit.

The series is live action and was created in the early 1970s by the same studio that would create the sentai series (later adapted in the Western world as Power Rangers). The scene where innocent people were murdered that way by the ant monster really makes you wonder if the show really was made for kids which what the intended audience is.

Theme soundtrack is pretty animesque, especially at 2:00 mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fs3WZgb8ic

Also here is this episode which that particular monster appears: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlf7qi_ultraman-ace-episode-05_shortfilms

Wish someone had uploaded the episodes with subtitles though.

I never had the money for such an unusual fetish, and the people who did (back in the day) were hella creepy, kinda like the fat nerd from the Simpsons only greasier, Thanks for the links, I'll check out the series once I'm settled... somewhere else :\ Lots of shit to shift, plans to be made...

Is it because of the skeletons? It probably traumatized tons of kids back then.

It was flying monkeys and werewolves with my Ma... eh, life's scary, that's why some creepishness is good for kids. The skellingtons in the original Clash of the Titans scared me, that and the 2nd remake of the Blob... and The Day After, of course, being a kid from the 80's n all.. lotta kids didn't come to school Monday morning after seeing that flick.
