Is it because of the skeletons? It probably traumatized tons of kids back then.
It was flying monkeys and werewolves with my Ma... eh, life's scary, that's why some creepishness is good for kids. The skellingtons in the original Clash of the Titans scared me, that and the 2nd remake of the Blob... and The Day After, of course, being a kid from the 80's n all.. lotta kids didn't come to school Monday morning after seeing that flick.

Wow, that's a sucky fate to befall, even if it is Halloween. Wow dude, I haven't seen Ultraman Ace... anime was sooo damn hard to find the 1980's, and when you did, expensive! The series is live action and was created in the early 1970s by the same studio that would create the sentai series (later adapted in the Western world as Power Rangers). The scene where innocent people were murdered that way by the ant monster really makes you wonder if the show really was made for kids which what the intended audience is.
