There are some classes like that in college, it depends on the teachers.
Your school used music for first and second bells? All my school ever did was use one long, loud, obnoxious buzzing sound that could deafen even the most sound hardened.
They used it for every bells each period, it's mainly classical music though. Not sure if they still do it now but it gets pretty repetitive when they use the same music each day.
