After the first 3 or 4 seasons... were there more episodes? Doesn't matter, 'cause they milked it for all that their imagination was worth. It might have been better to have an Extinction Level Event, and start over a few thousand years from now, with new Pokemon and challenges.

One thing's for sure, the winners write history, and that's what's dooming us right now.

That's for certain, by the end of the day, it's the same thing. I mean they can have Ash saving the world and yet he still couldn't win a friggin' tournament since Orange League. It's going to be the same thing over and over and over...

Also when winners writes history, you can guess the problems that are related to this sort of things. The Extinction Level Event probably would have been a good idea, maybe then...

Hey man, the elite four are harder than they look. All their Pokemon are at least level 70 and you have to fight them AND the champion without any breaks. You know how long it took me to pump up my Pokemon to do that? And the champion has a dragon-type which is impervious to all other types except dragon and ice and you only have one ice Pokemon and it sucks.

Also, if I wrote history, I'd try to put perspectives of both sides, you know, to preserve fairness and all that.

Takuto has a line up of legendaries in episode 188.

That is what I'm referring to, it's like the writers didn't want Ash to win anything since Orange League. It's the same formula but with even more ridiculous opponent.

Also, when it comes to preserving fairness on history books, why not? But remember, Cancer Deathmask was a massive lunatic.
