Dude, you need to follow my deck structure. DRAGONS ARE SOME OF THE BEST MONSTERS, PERIOD!!! I know what I'm talking about. Fiends generally have low attack, they just survive via their effects and low levels being able to deal damage quickly. Dragons generally have higher attack and higher levels but their damn well worth it. Beasts usually have low-med attack strength and get by through equip and field spell cards. Warriors are generally a mix of the fiends effects and dragon's higher attack strength. Case in point, "Marauding Captain."
I have couple of Red Eyes including one japanese from Premium Pack 5 from few years ago, but they're in a collection book.
